SUMMER AUDITIONS
AUDITIONS MAY 29-30
This year Jubille Performing Arts is delighted to present "Some Enchanted Evening", a musical theatre revue featuring the classic music of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein directed by Caroline Keener and Nicole Duis. You will recognize music from many Golden Age musicals such as "The Sound of Music","South Pacific", "Oklahoma!", "Sate Fair", "Flower Drum Song", "Cinderella" and more! Preliminary auditions are Friday, May 29 (please use the sign up below. Please arrive 10 minutes before your audition slot and expect your preliminary audition to last 10- 30 minutes. Be sure to bring your completed audition form attached to a headshot and come prepared to sing your three choices from the song selections below. You will be notified by 10:00 pm if you are needed for callbacks. Callbacks are Saturday, May 30, 11:00am- 3:30pm and will include dancing as well more singing. We are looking for many ensemble cast members as well as featured singers, tap dancers, ballet dancers, those who can perform rope/lasso tricks, barrel trick and more! Please see below for all audition information. Rehearsals will be held at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Centreville on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings with some additional Saturday events and additional rehearsals the week of and before the performance. Performances will be held at Willard Middle School in Aldie in August 7 and 8, 2026. Cost per cast member is $200 for the summer.

Please memorize and prepare two of the following audition song selections PLUS "The Prince is Giving a Ball" selection. Children eight and under may choose to sing only one (any of the below) selection(s). We will be using the "backing" tracks without guide vocals for audition. You will find both guide vocal practice tracks and audition tracks below, along with a page of audition selection lyrics. You will also be asked to dance at the audition. Please bring dance shoes if you have them (all genres you practice) along with a completed audition form and headshot or 8 by 10 photo of the shoulders up.
