Jubilee Performance Company 2026 - 2027:

Pre-requisite for joining JPC: At least one year of Musical Theatre Class at JPA plus two full years of consecutive JPC experience (or by audition).  Students must also be registered for a weekly dance technique class. 

*For students interested in auditioning for JPC for a future season, be sure to register for Musical Theatre class and we highly recommend choir and at least one other weekly dance class.

This year Jubilee Performance Company will be producing the musical Disney's THE JUNGLE BOOK KIDS! In and of itself, JPC will have the opportunity to perform this 35 minute musical for various community events. For our annual studio wide Spring recital performances in May, JPC will also perform the same roles with the addition of THE JUNGLE BOOK PROLOGUE, weaving even more layers of dance and song into the Jungle Book story. Students will audition within JPC rehearsals at the beginning of the school year and maintain their assigned the role(s) for the entirety of the year, including the recital performance. JPC cast  members will portray their featured Musical Theatre roles of the show during recital just as in their shorter performances but with the addition of the prologue numbers done by each dance class. 

 

Specific principal roles must be played by JPC students who take a variety of dance genres.

Jubilee Performance Company (JPC) is a musical theatre troupe dedicated to artistry, technique and professionalism. JPC is well known within the community. We perform at local venues and events. We also typically perform at one theme park each year.  Students must be committed to practicing material 

at home for in class auditions and rehearsals. Students must be committed to the full school year. We 

strive to offer a variety of performance opportunities and venues as we teach professionalism in 

Musical Theatre performance technique to prepare students for that field.

$165 materials fee will need to be submitted along with the JPC contract to help cover music, scripts, royalties and needed items for the cast. 

 

Uniform items including JPC Jungle Book shirts must be purchased by September 19, 2026. 

 

JPC will be held from 6:30 - 8:00pm on Wednesdays each week of our regular calendar. 

• Additional rehearsals/call times will be appropriately scheduled throughout the year.​

 

Tuition:

JPC runs like any other class on our fee schedule plus $165 per student for the 2026 - 2027 season.

Prerequisites:

​

• Students must have taken a Musical Theatre Course in a previous year plus either participated in two consecutive years of JPC or audition to qualify for the company 

• Age eligibility is grades 2-12 or by audition/invitation

• Maturity in taking direction and correction 

• Commitment to the Company for the full school year 

• Encourager of other students in the JPC cast  

• Enrollment in at least one other weekly dance technique class through JPA (choir is also strongly recommended)

• Payment and actor contract completed 

• Students must accept casting agreement 

• JPC requires at home autonomy and  responsibility and rehearsal time for both on stage prep and off stage preparation. 

• Students should expect to come to rehearsal prepared and memorized when directed.
