Students in Jubilee Youth Choir will experience the joy of singing with friends as they participate in regular weekly rehearsals which will include engaging warmups, rhythm and solfege games, and performance preparation. Students will gain experience singing in unison and two-part harmonies, with occasional opportunity to sing in three-part harmonies.  Jubilee Youth Choir will perform at all Jubilee recitals and have occasional additional performance opportunities throughout the school year. Additionally, JYC students have the opportunity to perform alongside Jubilee Performance Company for a variety of community events!

 

This year Jubilee Youth Choir students will need:

• JPA shirt (uniform store)

• red JPA Sweatshirt (uniform store)

• tentative: sequin dress: females (uniform store)

• tentative: sequin collared shirt: males (uniform store)

• black dance pants/leggings

• tan jazz shoes

• foundation leotard and studio tights (females)

• white undertank and athletic compression shorts (males)
